Zinfandel is California’s heritage variety, and was the first to bring acclaim to the Paso Robles region. Today in Paso Robles Wine Country you’ll find over 170 wineries where more than 40 wine varieties are grown and produced. The annual Zinfandel Festival encompasses live and silent auctions, a traditional collaborative Zinfandel blend, and a Zinfandel Grand Tasting on Saturday, March 17. All this surrounded by three days of special activities at more than 90 individual Paso Robles wineries — both Zin-producing and not — March 16, 17 and 18, 2007.
